AFFILIATE PAGE PLUGIN
The Problem:
My company had an affiliate program with various auto dismantlers, recyclers, wholesale auto parts companies. At the beginning of this program the plan was to send each affiliate a folder with high fidelity mockups, style guides, and all the assets they would need to create their own Sell My Car Page and Donate My Car Page on their websites.
The problem we were running into was the user experience wasn't consistent and each page would have differences and not all were responsive.
The Solution:
Design and develop a plugin that each company's web designer or developer could install in Wordpress, copy and paste a shortcode into their blank webpage and have the plugin build the page for them. The result would be the same webpages for each affiliates webpages.
PLUGIN DEVELOPMENT
The initial phase was to write the html and css for a Sell My Car and Donate My Car responsive webpage. Once those pages were tested and validated the next phase would be to add PHP with scripts that would allow the user to use a shortcode and would pull the html and css to build the pages automatically without the need for any assets or design.
The affiliate would only need to create two pages and name them. Then add the shortcode to a text module in the Wordpress page or page builder.
